Mental Health is the condition of psychological and emotional happiness in which a person is capable of using his/ her emotional and cognitive potentials, activity in society, and meeting the regular life demands. It is how a person thinks, feels and acts as he/ she faces any situations. Teen mental health is the style of thinking, feeling and acting of a teenager. It is very important at all steps of life just as, physical health.

The life of a teenager is affected by his/ her mental health. Protecting and caring teenagers is a responsibility to all and is vital for their lives and their liberty. Teenagers can have mental health disarrays same as matured persons and these disorders can hinder their way of thinking, feeling and acting at any situation. If these problems are not treated well, these mental disorders can take towards family conflicts, school failure, violence, suicide, drug abuse etc.

The causes of mental health problem are very profound. These are caused mainly because of environment and biology. Instances of biological reasons are chemical imbalances, genetics, central nervous system damages etc. Many environmental issues also put tender aged persons at risk for growing mental health disarrays. Affected teenagers are required to get assistance very soon to get rid of the problem. Some symptoms of mental health disorders are: sad for no reason, very angry most of the time, anxious, fearful, concerned about physical problems etc. These bring many changes such as, declining education performances, losing interest, unexplained change in every work, avoiding family and friends, daydreaming, feeling life tough, hearing unexplainable voices, experiencing suicidal plans etc.

The teenager experiences many things as well. He starts having poor attention, inability to sit still, worry about hurting others, being harmed, racing thoughts and continuous nightmares. The teenager can also behave in a problematic way, which consists of: using drugs or alcohol, eating huge amount of foods, concerned about weight, exercising obsessively or dieting, harming other people by breaking laws, setting fires, killing animals, doing threatening things etc.

These problems are curable by many means. The most important thing a parent can do is expressing their feelings for his/ her son/ daughter. Children, especially teenagers, often think that, his/ her parents cannot stand him and feel himself/ herself a burden for his/ her family. By forming a loving relationship from the initial stage will surely help a parent and his/ her son/ daughter in their teenage. They can also work together to have a free interaction. If anyone is suspicious of any problem of his/ her teen, he/ she should ask him/ her, what is bothering him/ her? It also provides the opportunity to discover how to solve the problems together. Parents should not be fearful to deal with problems of a teen. Many resources are available, such as, family doctor.

Teen Mental Health is very vital for a teenager, as once he will grow older, will have the same problems. So, parents and teens both should cooperate to solve any problem of the teenagers.
